Supreme Court Removes Voter ID Requirement

10/12/2014

Late Thursday, October 9, 2014, the United States Supreme Court issued an order blocking implementation of Wisconsin's voter photo ID law for the November 4, 2014 General Election.

Based on this action, Wisconsin voters are NOT required to show ID to vote in the November 4th General Election.

Voters still must register to vote and must show proof of address to vote.
